Kyle Bacon of the men’s lacrosse team was named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 26.
During Tuesday’s matchup with Alfred University, the freshman scored two goals on three shots. He also picked up a ground ball and caused a turnover.
The following day, during Saturday’s 11-5 win over Keuka, the Pine Bush, N.Y. native scored his second hat-trick of the season. Along with his three goals scored, he assisted on two others for five points, picked up two ground balls and caused a turnover.
Bacon is currently tied for first with 11 goals on the season and is second on the team with 15 points.
Men’s lacrosse will return to action Wednesday at 4 p.m. as the team will travel to face the Utica Pioneers.
