OSWEGO, N.Y. – Rachel Windhausen - of the women’s basketball team – was named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 10.

Windhausen set career highs in both points and rebounds in consecutive games over the weekend, dominating Potsdam and Plattsburgh.

The Liverpool, N.Y. native, whose previous career highs were 23 points and 14 rebounds (on separate occasions), scored 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds on Friday against Potsdam. This was her third double-double of the season. 

Saturday was another record-setting afternoon for the graduate student, who shattered her newly set career highs. She scored 34 points (a season high for Oswego), going 12-15 from the field and a perfect 10-10 from the free throw line, while grabbing a whopping 21 rebounds. 

Windhausen and the Lakers host Oneonta for their final home game of the season at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Max Ziel Gymnasium.
