OSWEGO, N.Y. – Shaniece Gregory – of the women’s track and field team – was named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 17.

The junior had two top-10 finishes at the Marc Deneault Invite at Cornell on Saturday. She placed sixth in the 200-meter dash (27.08) and third in the 400-meter dash (1:01.61).

This is Gregory’s eighth top-10 individual race finish this season. She was also part of the 4X400 meter relay team that finished fifth at Cornell.

Gregory and the Lakers travel to Houghton College this weekend for the SUNYAC Indoor Championships, beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday.
