OSWEGO, N.Y. – Teresa Shattuck – of the women’s lacrosse team – has been named Oswego State Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 21.

With just over one minute in to the first half during Wednesday’s 18-1 victory over Buffalo State, the senior recorded her 47^th assist of the season, breaking the programs 16 year-old points record (304). She finished the game with six points to lead the team.

The Syracuse, N.Y. native continued her dominance against Oneonta, notching a goal and assisting three more, including the game-tying goal to send the game into overtime. The Lakers would prevail in the extra period, 14-13, moving to 8-4 on the season.

She comfortably leads the SUNYAC with 54 assists, while also sitting in the top three for points (67).

Shattuck and the Lakers travel to Morrisville for a nonconference tilt at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
