OSWEGO, N.Y. – Anthony Paris – of the men’s soccer team – was named the Oswego State male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 13.

The senior recorded his second goal of the season, his fourth of his career, as the Lakers split a pair of conference games this past weekend.

As the Lakers celebrated their seniors on Saturday against New Paltz, the Lakers would find themselves tied at one with 36 minutes remaining in regulation. Paris would make the day memorable as he found the back of the net with only eight minutes remaining the contest, sending the Lakers to a 2-1 victory on Senior day.

Paris and the Lakers return to action as travel to Potsdam for conference action at 3 p.m. on Friday.
