Oswego State Athletics

Oswego, N.Y. – Catarina Burke – of the women’s indoor track and field team – has been named Oswego State Female Athlete of the week for the week ending January 26.

This past weekend, Burke collected her seventh-career win in the high jump with a mark of 1.59 meters (5’ 2.5”). The senior also competed in the 60-meter hurdle race for the first time, qualifying for the final, taking seventh place with a time of 10.89 seconds.
 
Burke and the Lakers return to action on Saturday as they travel to Utica for the Utica Invitational.
