OSWEGO, N.Y. - Michael Gillespie – of the men’s ice hockey team – has been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the week for the week ending February 9.

The New City, N.Y. native has collected points in the past five games for the Lakers. The senior has nine assists and four goals in that span while the team went 3-1-1. He currently sits in a tie for third in points with Max Novick.

Gillespie and the men's ice hockey team return to action at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 14 as they travel to take on Morrisville State in SUNYAC action.
