OSWEGO, N.Y. – Junior Logan Castiglione – of the women’s lacrosse team – has been named Oswego State Co-Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 8.

Castiglione notched seven points on five goals and a pair of assists in the Lakers' road women's lacrosse victory on Saturday.  Oswego State downed Morrisville State by a 20-14 score to kick off action in 2021.  Down 6-3, Castiglione scored a pair of man-up goals to turn momentum back to the Lakers at the end of the first half and help take a 9-7 lead into intermission.  She and sophomore Sela Wiley scored five times in the opening 10 minutes of the second half to break the game open.

The women's lacrosse team is slated to return to action this Saturday with a 1 p.m. contest at SUNYAC rival Brockport.
