OSWEGO, N.Y. – Morgan Shines - of the women's ice hockey team - has been named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 6.

Shines notched four points in a pair of shutout wins for the Lakers as they moved into second place in the NorthEast Women's Hockey League standings.  In the team's 5-0 win over SUNY Canton on Friday, she had an assist on the game-winner and added her eighth goal of the season.  On Sunday, she added a pair of assists during the 4-0 shutout of the 'Roos.

The Lakers are back in action on Tuesday at 7 p.m. when they head west to battle the Buffalo State Bengals.
