Ford finished second at 197 pounds at the Ithaca College Invitational on Nov. 8-9. Ford opened the tournament by upsetting the #4 seed Nick Cambi of Roger Williams University 5-2. In the quarterfinals, the Laker sophomore pinned Jamie Myer of New York University in 2:22 to advance to the semifinals where he then upended the top seed, Martino Sottile of Cortland, 6-2. In the championship match, Ford dropped a close 4-2 decision to Chris Carabello of Ithaca College.

Ford, a public justice major, is the son of Steve and Dawn Ford of Sterling.
