The Oswego State volleyball team dropped an exciting five-game match to visiting St. Lawrence University as the Saints won the last claim the 3-2 victory on Tuesday, September 21st at Laker Hall.

The win puts St. Lawrence at 9-7, while the Lakers fell to 2-11.

The Saints won the match by the scores of 20-30, 30-19, 19-30, 30-27 and 15-12.
Heidi Armstrong (Solvay) led Oswego State with 15 kills and setter Amanda McManus (Solvay) had 35 assists. Patty Dingman (Coudersport, PA) contributed defensively with 23 digs and Shara Dowd (Hannibal) had 12.

Allison Boulanger (Northport) paced St. Lawrence as the freshman had 18 kills, while Lauren Waggoner (Spokane, WA) had 15 kills, 7 digs and six aces. Senior setter Kristen Ross (Altona) directed the Saint attack with 35 assists.

The Lakers return to action this weekend heading to Brockport for the opening round of SUNY Athletic Conference West Pool Play.
