The Oswego State volleyball team went 1-3 in SUNYAC Pool Play over the weekend and did not qualify for the conference playoffs. The Lakers finished SUNYAC play with a 3-5 record, and the team is 19-13 on the season.

The Lakers lost to Geneseo 30-19, 30-26, 30-26; and Fredonia 30-26, 30-15, 30-27 on Friday. Heidi Armstrong had 11 kills and five digs in the loss to Geneseo, and Shannon Hennigan had 25 assists and five aces. Breanne Scholla led the team with 11 kills in the loss to Fredonia, while Armstrong had 19 digs.

Saturday's action started with an Oswego State victory over Buffalo State. The Lakers won 30-28, 30-22, 30-20. Hennigan had 36 assists and four aces. Amanda Cipriano had 12 kills and nine digs.

The Lakers finished with a loss in four games to Brockport. Game scores were 30-18, 24-30, 30-15, 30-15.
