The Cortland Red Dragons won the last four bouts and beat Oswego State 28-12.

Those four wins broke a 12-12 tie, and improved the Red Dragons' record to 10-3 in dual meets this year. The Lakers fell to 5-6-1.

Oswego State heavyweight Jake Taylor, a senior from Rochester, pinned Matt Eldredge in 1:13 to get the Lakers on the board. Joe Jewett scored for the Lakers with a 4-0 decision over Eddie Ortiz and Dane LaPlante earned a 3-2 decision in the 149-pound match over Jason Chase.

Cortland freshman Paul LeBlanc continued his outstanding rookie campaign in the 141-pound bout with a pin of Rich Stevens in 5:11. LeBlanc is now 29-2 on the year with six pins.

Stef Sair, currently ranked fourth in Division III, won by pin in 4:36 over Oswego State's Craig Becker at 174 pounds. Sair is now 17-2 on the season.

Earning wins by decision for Cortland were Ryan Gadsby, Troy Tooley, Mario Schiano, and Phil Archer. 157-pounder John Franchi scored a major decision.
