The Oswego State women's volleyball team posted a perfect 3-0 record at this weekend's Hamilton Quad. The Lakers defeated Elmira in four games on Friday and then swept St. Lawrence and the host Hamilton College Continentals in three games on Saturday.

On Friday, the Lakers defeated Elmira in four games 26-30, 30-20, 30-14, 30-20. Junior Heidi Armstrong (Solvay) recorded 19 kills for the Lakers and sophomore Shannon Hennigan had 46 assists.

On Saturday the Lakers defeated St. Lawrence 30-17, 30-25, 30-22 and host Hamilton College 30-25, 30-23, 30-16.

Hennigan recorded another 26 assists in the three-game victory over St. Lawrence, Samantha Pickering had 10 kills and Amanda Cipriano had 22 digs.

Hennigan added another 34 assists in a three-game defeat of Hamilton bringing her tournament total to 106. Breanne Scholla had 12 kills against Hamilton and Heidi Armstrong had 10 kills and 11 digs.

The Lakers now hold a 13-8 record on the season. They return to action Oct. 5 at Keuka College.
