The Oswego State women's tennis team won all nine matches in a 9-0 win over Utica on the Romney Tennis Courts in Oswego on Wednesday afternoon. Oswego State is 2-2 in dual matches this year.
Freshman Giana Marchese continued her strong season and didn't lose a game in either her singles or doubles matches. Marchese won 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles over Jenny Pliester and paired with Christine Burkhart to win 8-0 at third doubles.
Brigid McCarthy (second singles) and Victoria Kulczak (sixth singles) also won their matches without dropping a single game. Other singles winners for Oswego State were Sarahjean Marhone, Michele Giorlando, and Joanne Duhan. Julianne Miller won a singles match in exhibition play.
