The Oswego State volleyball team lost its first match of the day against Potsdam, but defeated Buffalo State later in the day on Friday at the Victory Promotions Invitational in Potsdam.

The host Potsdam Bears defeated Oswego State in three games by scores of 30-21, 30-19, 30-22. The Lakers returned to the court and swept the Buffalo State Bengals in the second match by scores of 30-20, 30-19, 30-25.

With a 1-1 record, Oswego State will play in the Silver Pool of the tournament on Saturday at Maxcy Hall in Potsdam.
