Playing in its second match in as many days, the Oswego State women's tennis team traveled to south to face host Oneonta State on Friday, Sept. 5, falling 7-2 to the undefeated Red Dragons (2-0) in a SUNYAC match.

The host swept all three doubles matches and took four of six matches in singles, with two matches going the full three sets.  Junior Tiarra Garrow (Morrisonville/National Sports Academy)and senior Sarahjean Marhone (Hollis/Bayside) won their respective matches to remain undefeated on the season with 2-0 records. Garrow registered a 6-2, 6-1 triumph at first singles, while Marhone needed three sets, 6-7 (7-4), 7-5, 10-6 en route to victory at sixth singles.

The Lakers continue their road swing on Tuesday, Sept. 9, traveling to face Roberts Wesleyan College.
