The Oswego State wrestling lost to host Lycoming College 18-15 in the first match of the day followed by a 31-12 loss to Trine University on the final day of the Budd Whitehill Duals in Williamsport, Pa. Sophomore Paul Slaver (Fulton, N.Y.) and freshman Omar Santiago (Huntington, N.Y.) finished the day undefeated at 125 and 133 pounds, respectively. Slaver defeated Stephen Hinton of Lycoming 6-2, while Santiago defeated Terrell Nixon of Lycoming 7-0. Both wrestlers registered wins against Trine by forfeit. The Lakers' dual match record dropped to 3-6.

Oswego State will compete at the 41st New York State Wrestling Championships hosted by Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. on January 23-24.
