Omar Santiago (Fr., Huntington, N.Y.) recorded a major decision win at 133 pounds, but it would not be enough as the Oswego State wrestling team fell to host Lycoming College 28-9 on Saturday afternoon in the first round of the NY/PA Duals. Santiago defeated Edward Exler by the score of 9-1. The Lakers, who moved to 1-2 in dual meets, will compete against King's College at 4 p.m. on Saturday in Williamsport, Pa.

Other Laker victories came from Nick Rodgers (Jr., Owego, N.Y.) at 157 pounds and Eric Leusch (Sr., Rochester, N.Y.) at 285 pounds.  In a tight match, Rodgers defeated Zach Frederick 3-1.  Leusch defeated Zach Eckstrom by the score of 11-4.
