The Oswego State wrestling team suffered a 24-15 loss to King's College of New York in its second match of the day at the NY/PA Duals hosted by Lycoming College on Saturday afternoon.
Eric Leusch (Sr., Rochester, N.Y.) capped off a strong day as he pinned John Humble in 1:09. The Lakers fell to 1-3 overall and return to action next weekend at the Budd Whitehill Division III Duals.
Oswego State also picked up victories at 149, 165, and 197-pound weight classes. Mike Howard (Sr., Oswego, N.Y.) defeated Chris Puorro in an 8-1 decision at 149 pounds, while Marc Collins (Jr., Farmington, N.Y.) defeated Jerry Robbins by the score of 7-2 at 165 pounds. Kyle Sheridan (Fr., Syracuse, N.Y.) registered the other victory of the match at 197 pounds when he defeated Anthony Corigliano 7-0.
