Women's Tennis Falls Short In 7-2 Loss To St. John Fisher

Nicole Leader and Christine Ripple registered wins for the Oswego State women's tennis team, but it would not be enough as the Lakers fell to St. John Fisher, 7-2, Friday afternoon in Oswego. Ripple defeated Sarah Zarzeczny 6-1, 6-3 at No. 6 singles, while Leader needed a third set tiebreaker to defeat Marissa Rotondo at No. 2 singles. Oswego State, which fell to 1-9 overall, hosts Sage Colleges Saturday at 12 p.m. The Cardinals improved to 5-3 on the season.
