The Oswego State volleyball team will host its annual “Dig Pink” game in conjunction with the SUNY Oswego Colleges Against Cancer when the Lakers take on SUNYIT Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. For this event, the Oswego State volleyball team will wear pink jerseys, socks, and laces. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and will be given one free raffle ticket at the door for prizes for attending. In addition, there will be an opportunity to pledge donations, as well as learn more about breast cancer and receive complimentary pink ribbons.
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the door for a chance to win prizes from Burritt Motors, B & T Sports Shop, Oswego Cinema 7, Domino's Pizza, Ponderosa, Lighthouse Lanes, Canales, Stone's Candy Shop and a basket provided from SUNYIT. Game-worn jerseys and a pink volleyball with signatures from Oswego State volleyball team will be raffled at the end of the game. All proceeds collected from this event will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the cure.
