Plattsburgh Box Score

The Oswego State volleyball team recorded a four-set victory over Plattsburgh to bounce back from a straight-set loss to RIT at the first day of the Potsdam/Victory Promotions Invitational in Potsdam on Friday.  The Lakers fell to the Tigers, 26-28, 19-25, 18-25, before defeating the Cardinals, 25-21, 25-20, 13-25, 25-23 to improve to 2-4 overall.  Oswego State will take on St. Lawrence and SUNYIT tomorrow to wrap up the tournament.

Jess Isgro (Sr., Brockport, N.Y.) led the hit parade for Coach Pat Hanlon in both matches, as she recorded 13 kills against the Tigers and 11 against Plattsburgh.  Katie van Kessel (Jr., Millbrook, N.Y.) helped the Lakers defensively as she posted 10 digs in the day's first match and 14 digs in the win, while also contributing nine kills versus the Cardinals.  Liz Crouch (Sr., Honeoye Falls, N.Y.) totaled 15 digs against Plattsburgh as well.  Stephany Olsheski (So., Brockport, N.Y.) finished the day with 57 combined assists with 33 coming in the winning effort.  At the net, Kelsey Lewis (Jr., Apalachin, N.Y.) posted three blocks against RIT.
