Lauren MacHose battled back from a one-set deficit to record her first collegiate win at No. 1 singles, but the Oswego State women's tennis team fell to Brockport 8-1 on Saturday in Fredonia. MacHose dropped the first set to Mackenzie Rounds 7-5, but won the second set 6-3 and the third set supertiebreaker 10-5. The Lakers, who moved to 0-3 overall, wrap up pool play against Geneseo on Sunday in Fredonia.
