The Oswego State volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to Brockport and Fredonia at the first day of the second round of SUNYAC Pool Play hosted by Brockport.  The Lakers, who moved to 6-20 overall and 0-6 in the league, fell to the host team by the score of 3-1 (25-16, 25-14, 25-27, 25-21 and Fredonia by the score of 3-0 (25-22, 25-9, 25-11). 

Freshman setter Kara Michelsen (Lake View, N.Y.) registered double-doubles in both matches with 15 assists and 10 digs against the Golden Eagles and 14 assists and 11 digs versus the Blue Devils.  Middle blocker Stephanie Bailey (Fr., Scotia, N.Y.) paced the offense with seven kills in each contest to go along with four blocks against Brockport.  Defensively, Christina Anderson (Fr., Huntington Station, N.Y.) tallied 13 digs in the losing effort versus Fredonia.
