In its final match before the SUNYAC Championships, the Oswego State women's tennis team fell to Elmira, 7-2, on Tuesday afternoon in Elmira.
Emma Baker and
Lauren Stall posted the Laker wins at No. 3 and No. 5 singles, respectively. Baker registered a 6-2, 6-2 straight-set win over Melanie Walker, while Stall erased a one-set deficit to defeat Kayla Fitzgerald, 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-3). Oswego State, which is 1-10 overall, opens play at the conference tournament on Sunday at the Eastside Racquet Club in Manlius.
