BOX SCOREBUFFALO, N.Y. – The Oswego State volleyball team dropped a four-set contest to New Paltz on Friday evening as part of SUNYAC Pool Play held at Buffalo State. Oswego lost the first two sets 25-11 and 25-13 before taking the third set 25-23. The Hawks would not let up, however, taking the fourth set 25-15 for the victory.
Emma Moriarty had eight kills to pace the Lakers while
Kelsey Dillon and
Sabrina Sutton each had seven. Sutton also had 10 digs while
Rachel Ruggaber had the team-high with 11.
Lauren Edwards and
Lindsey Champitto split the setting duty, finishing with 14 and 13, respectively.
Oswego will be back at it tomorrow, opening at 10 a.m. with Brockport before facing the host Bengals at 3 p.m.
