Cortland, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer fell 5-1 at Cortland on Saturday in a conference matchup. Oswego has earned the No. 5 seed in the SUNYAC Championship and will travel to No. 4 Brockport for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday. It will be the Lakers' first appearance in a SUNYAC Championship since 2002.

Caitlin Guerra gave the Red Dragons a 1-0 lead late in the first half. Angione touched a pass to the center of the box where Guerra slotted a low shot inside the right post from 15 yards out in the 42nd minute.
The Lakers tied the game in the 53rd minute. After a Cortland foul, Traynor sent a free kick into the box from the right side. Axt came off her line and got two hands on the serve, but the ball bounced to the left side where Heberger one-timed a clean look inside the right post.
From that point, Cortland took control of the game, scoring four goals in less than a 25-minute span.
