Marcy, NY -- Nikki Liadka scored four goals in Oswego State women's soccer's season-opening 6-0 win at SUNYIT. The senior's four scores is a career-high and helped the Lakers move to 1-0-0 on the season while dropping SUNYIT to 0-2-0.

Amanda Heberger was the first to get Oswego on the board, however, notching a goal just 7:49 into the game. Liadka followed suit quickly, adding her first goal of the game just 11 seconds later off a corner kick.

After just over 21 minutes of scoreless play, Liadka added her second goal of the day, coming unassisted in the 28th minute.

Just under two minutes into the second period, Liadka was at it again as teammate Bailey Waterbury assisted on her third goal of the contest. Waterbury would connect with Liadka again in the 54th minute, capping the four-goal outing.

Bri Dolan rounded out the scoring for Oswego in the 62nd minute on a unassisted goal.

Alyss Glasshagel got the shutout win in goal, stopping three shots in the game.

The Lakers will return to action at 4 p.m. on Tuesday when they travel to take on Hamilton College.
