Oswego, N.Y. – The Oswego State volleyball team cruised past Morrisville State in three-straight games (25-11, 25-8, 25-17) on Tuesday night at Laker Hall. With the win the Lakers improve to .500 (4-4) while the Mustangs fell to 0-7.
Sabrina Sutton led the way on the evening with five kills while also adding five digs and a service ace.
Rachel Ruggaber paced the way for Oswego in digs, digging up eight balls on the night. The sophomore also had three aces, one off the leader who was
Emily Walser with 5.
Lauren Edwards had more than half of the team's 35 assists, setting up 22 teammates on the evening.
Oswego will return to action on Friday when it hosts the Oswego State Tournament. SUNYIT, Utica College, St. Lawrence University, Wells College and Marywood University will all participate in the two-day event.
