Oswego, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's tennis team took a tough 5-4 loss at home to Fredonia on Friday evening. The loss drops Oswego to 2-4 on the year and 0-3 in the SUNYAC.
Lauren Stall and
Jessie Flaim took first doubles 8-6 while
Becca Zoeller and
Hannah Rawlings won at third doubles, 8-3, to head to singles play with a 2-1 lead over the Blue Devils.
Fredonia took four of the singles points, however, to comeback against the Lakers. On the singles side,
Nicole Leader won 6-4, 6-1 in the second slot while
Leslie Usherwood took sixth singles with the same score.
Oswego will return to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday when it travels to take on SUNY Plattsburgh in conference play.
