PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer team earned a point in conference standings with a 2-2 double-overtime tie at Plattsburgh on Saturday afternoon. With the tie, Oswego remains without a blemish in conference play at 2-0-2 while standing at 5-4-2 overall. The Cardinals move to 6-3-1 on the year and 2-0-1 in SUNYAC action.

For the second-straight day, Georgia Traynor made Oswego's opponent pay off a corner kick after scoring the game-winner over Potsdam on Friday. Against Plattsburgh, the senior captain found Sarah Grupp off a corner, allowing Grupp to head in the first goal of the game at 63:25.

Just over 10 minutes later, Bailey Waterbury notched her first goal of the season, settling a ball in the box after a scrum and beating the Cardinals' keeper. Waterbury's score gave the Lakers a 2-0 advantage with 17:22 remaining in regulation.

Plattsburgh fought back, however, cutting the lead to 2-1 with a goal from Brooke Knight at 84:19 before adding the equalizer from Anissa Hartman at 85:58.

At 2-2, neither team were able to score over the final four minutes or in either 10 minute overtime, resulting in a stalemate.

Alyssa Glasshagel made 10 saves over the 110-minute contest between the pipes for Oswego.

The Lakers will be back in action at 4 p.m. on Friday when they kick-off their final SUNYAC road weekend at Fredonia.
