OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's swimming and diving team was beaten by New Paltz 141-64 at home on Saturday afternoon. The loss snaps a two-game win streak for the team, dropping its record to 2-3 on the season.
Leading the Lakers in points on the day was sophomore
Jacob Mullett with 15. The Syracuse native earned nine points placing first in the 100-yard breaststroke, which he finished with a time of 1:03.68. Mullett then added four points with a second place finish in the 200-yard IM and two points finishing third in the 200-yard medley relay.
Also earning points for the Lakers were
Austin Nau and
Zach Gerber, who contributed 12 points each.
Men's swimming and diving returns to the pool at 1 p.m. this Saturday when they travel to Brockport for a dual meet.
