OSWEGO, N.Y. – Oswego State athletics is ready for another jam-packed weekend, as seven teams are set to play in the first weekend of December.

Men's basketball will get the weekend underway at home with its first two SUNYAC matchups of the season. At 2-2 on the year, the Lakers will draw Fredonia first for a 5:30 p.m. bout on Friday before turning around to play Buffalo State at 2 p.m. on Saturday.  To keep track of all the action, click here for the following: LIVE STATS  |  VIDEO or tune in to Time Warner Cable channel 325 in the Central New York area to watch the game.

Women's basketball also begins SUNYAC play this weekend with two contests directly following the men's basketball games. Holding a 1-3 mark on the young season, the Lakers play Fredonia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Buffalo State at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Many individuals from the men's and women's swimming and diving teams will be back in the water when they travel to participate in the three-day Monroe Community College Invite in Rochester. Meets will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday with the invite resuming at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Nationally-ranked men's ice hockey will hit the road this weekend, beginning with the renewal of its rivalry with No. 4/4 Plattsburgh at 7 p.m. on Friday. The Lakers will then play conference-foe Potsdam at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The women's hockey team takes a three-game win streak onto the road for two ECAC West matchups against Neumann University in Aston, Pa. Finally, Laker wrestling will resume competition this Saturday when the squad muscles its way into Rochester for the Rochester Institute of Technology Invite. Competition starts at 9:30 a.m.
