OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's tennis team opened up its 2014 season with a 9-0 loss to SUNYAC opponent Geneseo on the road.

Freshman Jill Travis and senior Haley Miller were able to grab two games at second doubles but fell short with a final score of 8-2.

At fourth singles, Miller won two games in her second set but was unable to rally, eventually losing to Geneseo's Dixuan Yuan 6-0, 6-2.

The Lakers are back in action tomorrow at 1 p.m. as they host SUNYAC rival New Paltz at the Romney Tennis Courts.
