BOX SCOREOSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's tennis team dropped to 0-2 on the season and in SUNYAC play with a 9-0 loss to visiting New Paltz on Saturday afternoon at the Romney Tennis Courts.
Lauren Stall took a game in each of her sets at first singles but fell 6-1, 6-1. Junior
Alicia Kreamer battled in the first set at second singles, taking two points before relinquishing the match, 6-2, 6-0.
Kreamer and Stall paired up at first doubles, fighting to earn three games prior to taking an 8-3 defeat. At second doubles,
Haley Miller and
Jill Travis took a game but eventually lost 8-1.
The Lakers will be in action again at 4 p.m. on Friday when they host the Express of Wells College.
