OSWEGO, N.Y. – Oswego State is looking forward to its first fall weekend of the season, during which seven teams will compete.
The volleyball team hosts SUNYAC Pool Play this weekend, where Oswego will compete in three matches. The Lakers draw Brockport for their first match at 5 p.m. on Friday and will continue play on Saturday when they face Plattsburgh at 10 a.m. and Buffalo State at 12:30 p.m.

Women's soccer will look to rebound this weekend when it hosts two SUNYAC contests to start the conference slate. The first bout comes against Oneonta at 4 p.m. on Friday while its Saturday matchup will be played at 1 p.m. against New Paltz.

Coming off of a hard-fought 1-0 loss, men's soccer will begin its SUNYAC play on the road this weekend. The Lakers first game is against Oneonta at 4 p.m. on Friday at 4 p.m. Oswego will then travel to New Paltz on Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest.

Women's tennis will get its weekend rolling with a home game against St. John Fisher College at 4 p.m. on Friday. The Lakers will continue play on Saturday when they travel to Fredonia for a SUNYAC contest starting at 1 p.m.
Following a tough 2-1 double overtime loss against Brockport at home on Friday, field hockey will look for redemption in SUNYAC action this weekend. The Lakers travel to challenge New Paltz at 4 p.m. on Friday at 4 p.m. followed by Oneonta at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

To wrap up this weekend's events, the men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Rochester to participate in the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College, at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
