OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's soccer team fell 3-0 to Cortland Saturday afternoon at Laker Turf Stadium on Senior Day. With the loss the Lakers move to 4-10-1 overall and 1-8-0 in the conference. Cortland improves to 10-4-2 on the year, 1-8-0 in the SUNYAC.
The Lakers stayed with the Red Dragons for the majority of the first half, only to let a goal in with 3:39 left. The second half proved to be much of the same as Oswego played even at first followed by two late Cortland scores.
Todd Lawson accumulated 10 saves on the day, the second most he's earned this season.
Men's Soccer will travel to Morrisville at 4 p.m. on Wednesday to take on the Mustangs in its final game of the regular season.
