PITTSBURGH, Pa. – After 65 minutes of play, neither Oswego State nor Chatham University could find the back of the net, leading to a 0-0 finish at the Alpha Ice Complex Saturday afternoon. Oswego goes to 7-3-3 on the season and 5-2-3 in the ECAC West while Chatham moves to 6-7-0 overall (2-5-1 ECACW).

Despite the outcome, Oswego applied pressure throughout three periods posting 23 shots on goal to the Cougars 21. The Lakers also controlled the face-off dot, winning 25 of a possible 45 puck drops. Lizzy Marks did the most damage during the faceoffs, winning 75% (8-of-12) opportunities.

Tori Trovato was called upon to play netminder for the Lakers, stopping all 21 shots and notching her eighth shutout of her career.

Women's ice hockey returns to the Marano Campus Center Arena at 7 p.m. on Tuesday to square off against Morrisville State in the two teams first ever meeting.
