RESULTSCORTLAND, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's swimming and diving teams fell 133-104 to Cortland on the road Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, the Lakers go to 6-2 in individual meets this season and also end a six-game winning streak that started on Oct. 24, 2015.
James Dillon picked up Oswego's first points, earning nine with a first place victory in the 1000-yard free. The junior finished with a time of 10:45.50, narrowly edging the second place finisher by .17 of a second.
In the middle of the meet, the Lakers won three straight events beginning with
Jacob Mullett whose time of 4:44.48 was good enough for first in the 400-yard IM. Jay Choi then collected nine points by taking the top spot in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.19. Finishing the stretch was
Austin Nau, who touched the wall first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.26.
