ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Oswego State wrestling team fell 27-18 to Oneonta on the road Saturday afternoon. The loss gives the Lakers a 3-10 record in dual meets on the year.

Jacob Yankloski got the Lakers off to a quick start as he secured a 3-1 decision at the 125-pound weight class. Oswego's next points came from 165-pounder Mark Milisci, as he won a tight 4-3 decision over Oneonta's Evan Wallace. Next to score the Lakers was nationally-ranked Troy Seymour, who pinned Oneonta's Lantze Lange at 5:22 to earn six points from the 174-pound weight division.

Daniel Smith would wrap up the Oswego scoring with a fall as he picked up six points at 197-pounds, downing his counterpart in just 2:57.

Wrestling will pick up action again at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3 as the team travels west to Alfred State.
