CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's soccer team fell to nationally-ranked Cortland—1-0—on Saturday afternoon. Oswego completes its conference schedule at 1-8 and is now 4-12 overall on the season. Cortland improves to 14-2 overall and 8-1 in the SUNYAC.
Goalkeeper
Evan Bogucki served as a near-brickwall in net, limiting the nation's No. 8 team to just one goal scored. The sophomore recorded seven saves while playing in net for all 90 minutes.
Zack Koons (2),
Connor Lunduski (2) and
Mitch Brickman (1) combined to take five shots-on-goal and provide the Oswego offense.
Brian Torchia also tallied a shot with his sailing slightly high.
The Lakers will return to Laker Turf Stadium at 4 p.m. on Wednesday for a senior-day contest against the Morrisville State Mustangs.
