SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's tennis team fell 8-1 to Le Moyne College on the road Tuesday afternoon. With the loss, Oswego goes to 2-2 on the spring season and finishes its year with a 6-12 record. Le Moyne goes to 10-9 overall.
After dropping all three doubles matches, Oswego found its first point of the match at sixth singles.
Madeline Klatt kept the Dolphin opponent at bay in the first set, winning 6-1. She then battled tough in the second to earn a 6-4 win and the sole Laker victory.
Alli Ullrich had a tough battle at third singles, pushing the match to a tie-break third set. The junior won her first set 7-5 before dropping the second set 6-4. In the seven-point tie break, Ullrich was just edged 10-8.
