OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's tennis team earned its second win of the season 6-3 over Elmira College at home on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Lakers are now 2-6 while the Soaring Eagles fall to 1-9.
Oswego won four singles matches on the day, coming from the 3-6 spots.
Giovanna Saulle and
Allie Foland did not surrender a game in either of their matches, winning 6-0, 6-0 at fourth and sixth singles, respectively.
Lorrayne Broach took fifth singles 6-1, 6-3 while
Madeline Klatt won by forfeit in the third slot.
At second doubles, Foland and Klatt combined for an 8-4 victore while Broach and Saulle dominated third singles 8-1.
The Lakers will host Utica College in their next match, hosting the Pioneers at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
