WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Oswego State wrestling team dropped its final two matches of the Budd Whitehill DIII Duals on Saturday at Lycoming College. Oswego lost a heartbreaker to Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) 19-18 to open the day before falling 28-10 to Waynesburg to cap the weekend. The Lakers loss to the Tigers came after being tied 18-18 after the final weight class. A tie-breaker was applied in favor of RIT based on total match points (80-75).

For the second-straight day, Jordan Bushey and Kade Andrews did not suffer a loss in their respective weight classes. Bushey made it a perfect 5-0 on the weekend in the 184-weight class with two victories on Saturday. He opened with a 6-0 decision over RIT's Nicholas Greenquist before trumping Waynesburg's Ryan Shank by an 11-3 major decision.

Andrews moved to 3-0 over the two-day event, collecting a 6-1 decision over Wyatt Morris of RIT in the heavyweight class.

Evan Corso continued a stellar weekend with a pair of triumphs. The freshman posted a 16-8 major decision over the Tigers' Isaiah Ocasio before earning six team points with a forfeit victory over Waynesburg.

Also with wins on Saturday were Jack DelDuca and Joey Bush. The 125-pound DelDuca narrowly beat Connor Wilkins of RIT by 3-2 decisions. Bush – wrestling at 149-pounds – cruised past RIT's Coty Lutz, shutting out his counterpart with a 15-0 technical fall.

The Lakers will return to action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday when they travel to Brockport to face the Golden Eagles.
