GENESEO, N.Y. -- The Oswego State women's basketball team dropped a 75-48 contest at No. 18 and undefeated Geneseo. With the loss, the Lakers fall to 8-16 overall and 5-13 in the SUNYAC, while they have also been officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Knights improve to 24-0 in total and 17-0 in the conference.
Geneseo started this contest on fire, putting itself out of reach and making it impossible for the Lakers to get back into the game. The Knights outscored Oswego by a 24-9 margin in the period, in which the Lakers were led by four points from
Heather Hebert. The senior forward went on to add two more points and two rebounds in 23 minutes of action.
Every Laker played in the contest with 11 of them able to tally points.

Morgan Jordal (2) tallied 24 points combined off of the bench. Zimmerman led for the visiting team with her nine points, including a 3-pointer, while reeling in a pair of both offensive and defensive rebounds.
Courtney Ameele was the high-scorer among the starters, tallying eight points while sinking two made shots from outside the arc.
On the glass,
Rachael Windhausen paced the Lakers with seven clears, while
Zana Dillard added five more. Dillard also added three assists to join
Mary Mazzella, who also had a trio.
Women's basketball returns to action at 4 p.m. on Saturday to wrap up their season. The Lakers travel to Brockport for a league-contest against the Golden Eagles.
