OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer team defeated Clarkson University 1-0 in a defensive battle on Friday. With the win, the Lakers move to 3-0-1 on the season and Clarkson falls to 2-2-2.
Gabby Corrente had the game's lone goal. She broke the scoreless tie 66 minutes into the game with her first goal as a Laker.
The Lakers were top-notch defensively. They only allowed four shots from the Golden Knights in each half. Goalie
Emma Allen had three saves in the shutout.
Tomorrow, the team will head to Canton, N.Y. to face St. Lawrence at 1 p.m.
