OSWEGO, N.Y. – Eight winter sports teams from Oswego State will be competing this upcoming weekend, with all contests taking place on the road.
 
Friday afternoon, the women's ice hockey team will be on the road to face off against Buffalo State at 4 p.m. This will be the second weekend that the Lakers play a pair of games against the Bengals, with another game slated at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Earlier in the year when the Bengals came to Oswego, the two teams split the weekend series with Oswego taking the first game 3-0 before Buffalo State took the second game, 2-1.

Both the men's and women's basketball teams will be on the road this weekend, with the first stop at Geneseo on Friday followed by a Saturday matchup with the Golden Eagles of Brockport. The women's team will play at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday with the men's games to follow each day.

The No. 4/5 Oswego State men's ice hockey team will play two games against the Morrisville State Mustangs this weekend, with puck drop for both games set for 7 p.m. Oswego has 10 wins in its last 10 games against the Morrisville, outscoring the Mustangs 44-14 in those contests.

The men's and women's swimming and diving teams will compete at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Roberts Wesleyan College. Both teams defeated Buffalo State last weekend as the women's team improved to 6-2 while the men's team remained undefeated, at 8-0.
 
The men's and women's track and field teams will be participating at the Kane Invitational at Cornell University on Saturday.
