The Red Dragons were victorious against the Lakers at Laker Turf Stadium back on October 3rd, winning the match 3-1, with all four goals in the game coming in the first fifteen minutes of the game.
Kaylee Elliot scored the lone goal for Oswego, and goalkeeper
Lucy Starzyk made 5 saves on the day in the defeat.Â
Â
The Lakers at a glance… At 7-7-3 overall (3-2-3 SUNYAC), the Lakers enter the Semi-Finals of the SUNYAC Tournament on a high note, winners of their last three games, and having not dropped a game since October 10th. In that stretch, the Lakers are 5-0-1, finding their stride offensively and defensively. The Lakers advanced past SUNY Potsdam in the first round of the SUNYAC tournament on October 28th, defeating the Bears 5-1 with an offensive explosion. The Lakers then won a thriller in Oneonta, defeating the Red Dragons 3-2 in the Second Round of the SUNYAC Tournament to advance to the Semi-Finals.
