BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's ice hockey team dropped a 4-1 contest at Buffalo State on Friday evening. With the loss, the Lakers fall to 8-9-1 overall and 4-5-0 in the NEWHL while the Bengals move to 10-8-2, 6-4-1.
In the opening period, Oswego lit the lamp first just 3:18 into the contest. A roughing penalty on the Bengals preceded the Laker goal by 22 seconds, with

With a little more than five minutes left in the first, Buffalo State evened the game and it stayed that way through to the intermission. The Bengals pulled away in the second with a pair of goals in the final 10 minutes. In the third, Buffalo State added an insurance goal at 2:21 to arrive at the final score of 4-1.
